Mysterious along the blue highway
I apologize for the lack of posts. However, an intensive school work load along with doses of lethargy have prevented me from contributing more to the blog. This semester, I am working on two time consuming projects, a final paper and an intense features article. Nonetheless, some of the homework has led me to interesting places in the Lone Star State. Additionally, in between work assignments, I ventured off to the Pelican and Magnolia states. Here are some of the highlights.
Along the Bankhead Highway in Clyde, TX.
Overlooking the Caprock outside Gail, TX
Gail, TX along US 180
Great burgers at this Dixie Inn, LA establishment
The final moments of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow's lives took place in this spot along LA 154 outside Mt. Lebanon, LA.
A stop along US 79/80 in Shreveport, LA.
A diamond in the rough, the US 80 Bridge outside Minden, LA.
Entrance to Vicksburg, MS from the Mississippi River.
