Hidden Gem
With school becoming the priority, traveling has become scarce. However, on this 66 degree day I took a small drive to the Downtown Mini Mall on the square in Denton. While I was there to record my observations for a class project, I encountered a few gems.
An original souvenir guide from the 1904 World's Fair, then these magical items:
The tunnel lied along the Old Spanish Trail
A 1922 Rand McNally map, which has interesting tidbits as to where to stay or have the Model T checked out.
This was one of the generic postcards issued by the café, which is long gone in this High Plains establishment along Route 66.
Sometimes, you can go on a journey in your hometown.
