What if...
Snow and ice creep along the American blue highway like a blanket runs up a shivering body. Cars and trucks attempt to navigate the dangers while the hands cling to the wheel like a rock climber holds on for dear life. The beautiful and scary thing about driving in the snow or ice is the unpredictable elements that come into play; other nervous drivers creeping up and harassing the rear, winds howling and shaking the vehicle like a blender concocts a milk shake. The mind wonders, ponders, the inevitable what if. Regardless, as I sit in my apartment: What is it like, if humanly possible, to scream down US 66 or US 380 in search for that thrill?
What are some of your memorable experiences driving on winter's creations?
